Michigan Historical Museum

On May 4th and May 31st of 2003, we ventured to the Michigan Historical Museum located in downtown Lansing at the Michigan Library & Historical Center. The museum hosts three floors of exhibits. The first floor currently holds a basketball exhibit. The second floor is primarily about the native tribes of Michigan, early settlers, and the industries previous to 1900 (copper, dolomite, some farming). The third floor has a number of automotive, wartime, and pop-culture exhibits. Many exhibits include interactive audio or video portions. The museum has a website at: www.michiganhistory.org
