Lake Lansing Park South

Once a popular amusement park, Lake Lansing Park South is located on Lake Lansing, the largest body of water within 30 miles of Lansing. The 30 acre-site includes a sandy beach bordered by four acres of lush green grass. You can find the entrance to LLP-South at the corner of Marsh Rd. and Lake Lansing Rd. (technically, then, I guess it's in Haslett or Okemos).

There is a Lake Lansing Park North. It's a larger park located on the Northeast side of the lake. It also has a beach, but the majority of its additional acreage is devoted to hiking and nature walks. Lake Lansing Park South is a family-oriented place with a beach, large kids' playground, multiple volleyball courts, and plenty of grassy spots and picnic areas.
